Delicious corn fritters.
Chef’s Recipe for Hush Puppies: Pour oil into fryer, heat to 375F or medium heat. Mix entire pouch with 1/2 cup water in a bowl. Mix until smooth, let stand 5 minutes. Add slightly more water to desired batter thickness. Drop one tablespoon of batter into oil, carefully, fry until golden brown. Use slotted spoon to remove fritter from hot oil. Place on paper towel to drain. Enjoy! Makes approximately 15 – 2″ hush puppies.
